Suspect Takes Stolen Patrol Car On Chase Ending In Valley Crash
A man stole a patrol car equipped with weapons, leading police on a chase through the San Fernando Valley ending in a Woodland Hills crash.

WOODLAND HILLS, CA — A suspect is in custody after stealing a Los Angeles Police Department patrol car from Hollywood and leading officers on a chase to the San Fernando Valley Friday morning, authorities said.
The chase began sometime around 1 a.m. in the area of Yucca and Vine streets, according to an officer at the LAPD's Hollywood Division.
It wasn't immediately clear how the suspect gained access to the patrol car, which was equipped with weapons including loaded firearms, according to reports from the scene.

The suspect entered the northbound Hollywood (101) Freeway and traveled to the San Fernando Valley before exiting the freeway and crashing into a curb, the officer said. The suspect crashed in the are of Ventura Boulevard and Serrania Avenue in Woodland Hills, according to reports from the scene.
The suspect was taken into custody, police said.
