Police surrounded an apartment complex, where a suspect holed up and refused to cooperate with police.

WOODLAND HILLS, CA — A suspect who held police at bay today in the pool area of an apartment complex was taken into custody after a more than four-hour standoff.
Officers went to the 7500 block of Vassar Avenue about 11:20 a.m. on a report that a possibly armed man was near the outdoor pool, said Los Angeles police Officer Tony Im.
