Adams County Coronavirus Outbreaks In Stores: March 10

Here's a list of the latest COVID-19 outbreaks reported at stores in Adams County.

ADAMS COUNTY, CO —Nearly 4,000 coronavirus outbreaks have been reported in Colorado since the pandemic began, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

The number of stores and restaurants reporting outbreaks in Denver's metro area has declined over the past month, according to state public health data.

Adams County businesses have strict cleaning procedures and coronavirus safety measures in place; however, some are still dealing with ongoing outbreaks due to the number of people who visit in person each week.

Some outbreaks have lasted more than two months since they were first detected.

Here are the four active outbreaks at stores in Adams County as of Wednesday:

  • The Home Depot #1503, 10003 Grant Street, Thornton: Since this outbreak was first reported in August 2020, 106 cases have been reported among staff members, state public health data shows.
  • American Furniture Warehouse #32, 8501 Grant St., Thornton: Since this outbreak was first reported in October 2020, 100 cases have been reported among staff members, the data shows.
  • King Soopers #114, 15051 E 104th Ave., Commerce City: Since this outbreak was first reported in June 2020, 81 cases have been reported among staff.
