Broomfield Week Ahead Weather: Sunny, Storms Threaten

This week, we can expect high temperatures in the 80's and mostly sunny weather, with a chance of storms through much of the week.

BROOMFIELD, CO — Every day this week is expected to be mostly sunny or sunny, with a chance of storms through Thursday afternoon. High temperatures will stick in the mid to high 80s.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook warning of "one or two severe thunderstorms" that may hit Tuesday afternoon across the Palmer Divide do the southeast Plains. Hail may be a threat.

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85. Light and variable wind becoming east northeast around 6 mph in the afternoon.

A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 59. Northeast wind around 6 mph becoming light and variable in the evening.
