Free Perennial Garden Workshops at Brunner Farmhouse Gardens

CSU Extension will offer free workshops on the best Colorado native plants and hardy transplants for your spring garden.

BROOMFIELD, CO – There may be snow on the ground and gusts of freezing winds, but hardcore gardeners are already planning for spring. Even beginners can envision the warmer weather where new plants might poke their green tendrils through the dry, dead grass.

You're in luck. Broomfield's Brunner Farmhouse & Gardens will be hosting a series of gardening talks on creating perennial gardens, presented by experts from CSU Extension.

The first presentation, Plant Selection Basics, will take place Tuesday, Feb. 26 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Brunner Farmhouse. Experts will share tips on "how to select native and Colorado-tested perennials for every theme and color scheme," according to promotional materials.
