Seeking to fill immediate vacancies for the Liquor Authority, the Open Space and Trails Advisory Board, and more

When you serve as a volunteer on one of our many citizen advisory bodies, you’ll provide input into the County’s decision-making process in a wide variety of areas while the County benefits from your knowledge, experience and expertise.

All applicants must be either a resident or business owner of real property in Arapahoe County. Applications are accepted throughout the year as vacancies arise, and these positions often have additional specific eligibility requirements. Liquor Authority

• 2 vacancies

The Liquor Authority conducts public hearings for consideration of all applications relating to new alcohol beverage licenses, the consideration of a change of location for a current license, alleged violations of the Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, and controversial issues pertaining to the liquor licensing process and/or laws in unincorporated Arapahoe County.

Open Space and Trails Advisory Board

• 1 vacancy for District 2
• 1 vacancy for District 4

The Open Space and Trails Advisory Board plans and develops an approach for the preservation of open space in Arapahoe County. Members shall make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners regarding the distribution of revenue collected from the Open Space Sales and Use Tax.
