Child Sexual Assault Charges For Arapahoe Co. Jail Deputy
Deputy John Beck was arrested in Pueblo County and faces three counts of sexual assault on a child, the Arapahoe Co. Sheriff said.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY, CO – An Arapahoe County Sheriff's deputy was arrested over the weekend by the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office for three counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in position of trust, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's office announced Tuesday.
John Beck, an uncertified deputy, who has served with the sheriff's office in the Arapahoe County Jail since 2009, was immediately placed on leave without pay.
“I am disgusted by the nature of these charges,” said Sheriff Dave Walcher in a statement. “Should the allegations prove to be true, his actions have not only forever impacted the lives of the victims; they have also cast a shadow on the great work our staff does every day in service to our community.”
