No Injuries In JeffCo Fire At Empty Senior Housing Building
Firefighters extinguished a blaze on the second floor at Balfour Residences in Jefferson County Tuesday night.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, CO – There were no injuries at a fire Tuesday evening in an unoccupied senior residential building in Jefferson County. Firefighters from Littleton Fire and Rescue and South Metro Fire Rescue worked in the rain to douse a blaze on an upper floor at Balfour Residences at 8160 W. Coal Mine Ave.
By around 7:20 p.m. firefighters tweeted that the blaze was extinguished and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
