Roxborough State Park Remains Open During Missing Person Search
The search for a "suicidal male" remains ongoing, and park visitors are asked to report anything unusual, Colorado Parks and Wildlife said.

LITTLETON, CO – Roxborough State Park reopened Wednesday morning after being closed to the public on Monday and Tuesday as officials searched for a missing person, Colorado Parks and Wildlife said.
Douglas County Search and Rescue started searching the park around 5 p.m. Sept. 23 for a missing person described as "a missing suicidal subject." According to social media posts, the agencies involved have searched with more than 100 volunteer searchers across the 4,000-acre park including people on foot, on horseback and with a helicopter. Dog teams were also brought in to search, but no one was found, CPW said.
Douglas County Sheriff's investigators are still searching, but the parks agency decided to reopen the park, CPW said.
