Bicyclist Dies After Collision With Car, ID Released: Report
The crash occurred on Friday in Torrington, according to a published report.
TORRINGTON, CT — Shawn Kiefer, 47, died as a result of injuries she sustained when a car and the bicycle she was riding on Friday collided, according to NBC Connecticut.
Kiefer originally suffered serious injuries in the Friday morning accident, but later died on Saturday as a result of her injuries. The accident occurred on Winsted Road and she was thrown from her bike, NBC CT reported.
The accident is under investigation.
