Timeline For Snow Released Sunday In CT, 40 MPH Wind Gusts Forecast Too

Additionally, odds are growing that a coastal storm will impact Connecticut later this week. Here are the latest details on that storm.

The sun is shining Sunday morning and temperatures are relatively mild, in the 40s, and it is shaping up to be a great weather day, or is it?

"Improving sky conditions will continue into the early afternoon...By late afternoon, a cold front brings a chance for a rain or snow shower and also increase winds this evening with gusts 30-40 mph," the National Weather Service said.

NBC Connecticut chief Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan noted on social media that we can expect a "quick snow shower or snow squall later Sunday as a push of colder air moves in from the west."
