HARWINTON, CT — A hunter died after falling out of a tree stand Friday morning on Terryville Road in Harwinton, WTNH News 8 reported.

News 12 CT reported that the incident occurred around 10 a.m. and since there was nothing criminal about the incident, that the identity of the deceased will not be made public.

Harwinton is a town in Litchfield County with a population of just over 5,000 residents.
