A man was taken to the hospital after he was struck by lightning in Colchester, according to media reports.
COLCHESTER, CT — A man was taken to the hospital after he was struck by lightning Wednesday evening in Colchester, according to media reports.
NBC Connecticut reports lightning struck the 34-year-old man on Orchard Farms Road, however he was conscious and alert, according to fire officials.
Fire officials also said the man was taken to a hospital with chest pain, WFSB Eyewitness News 3 reports.
