Missing Mom And Baby Found But Serious Injuries Reported: Police

WASHINGTON, CT — State police are investigating "serious injuries" after a mother and infant went missing early Sunday morning in Washington, according to authorities.
Around 10 a.m. Sunday, troopers responded to a missing person report in the area of Brinsmade Road, police said, adding that 27-year-old Sadie Fleming had last been seen leaving her Washington home on foot with her one-month-old son, Hudson Fleming.
The two were found later Sunday, according to police.

"Troopers have located both parties and serious injuries have been reported. The extent is unknown at this time," police said in a news release Sunday evening. "The scene is active, fluid and ongoing. This is all the information available for release at this time."
A silver alert regarding the disappearance was canceled, according to police.
