Bethel Chamber's New Executive Director is an Award Winning Author, Speaker

Heather Hansen O'Neill, the Bethel Chamber's new Executive Director, is also a Certified Corporate Success Coach.

Bethel, CT — The President of the Bethel Chamber of Commerce, Brennan Purdy, recently announced that the Board of Directors has chosen a new Executive Director.

The announcement comes just one month after the previous director, Bobbi Jo Beers, abruptly resigned in May. Beers held the position since 2011. She currently sells women's apparel, handbags and jewelry out of a trailer.

Purdy said in a letter to Chamber members:

"It is with great pleasure that I would like to announce Heather Hansen O'Neill as the new Executive Director of the Bethel Chamber. Heather's skills and experience in strategy, leadership, and team development will lend a valuable perspective to grow and better serve the membership of this valuable organization and community."

Ms. O'Neill is the founder of Find Your Fire, a company that helps business people lead change. She said in a statement:

O'Neill is an award winning speaker, author and coach who has served as an expert on ABC, CBS, NBC and other television networks. She enjoys rock climbing, skydiving, fire eating/walking, wind surfing, hang gliding and professional dancing.

Ms. O'Neill is also a certified DiSC facilitator, author of Find Your Fire and Teams On Fire, certified corporate success coach, the host of a community forum TV show, co-host of The Inspired Team Leader radio show, creator of Adventure to Connection and Stop the Violence-Embrace the Children and columnist and feature article writer for several regional and national papers and magazines.

She begins her position on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.
