Bethel Public Library Presents Two Musical Performances
Registration is required and limited to 50 each for both programs.

From Bethel Public Library: Start the New Year on the right note--join us at the Bethel Public Library for two terrific musical performances in January!
First up, on Wednesday January 11, 6:30 pm, is “Songs and Stories for Grown-Ups,” the musical and literary stylings of local professional musician and writer Lenny Levine. Mr. Levine’s songs have been recorded and performed by some of music’s greats: Diana Ross, The Pointer Sisters, and Barry Manilow. His stories have been published widely, and he was awarded a 2011 Pushcart Prize nomination for short fiction. He is known as a “think-outside-the-box” writer. This program is for grown-ups; it is not suitable for children.
Second, on Wednesday January 18, 6:30 pm, is “Songs of the Second World War,” with Rick Spencer, a nationally recognized performer of historic-music programs. Mr. Spencer will perform some of the most entertaining and popular songs of the 1940s, along with background information on the War and how it inspired the music. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, this program is for adults and students in Grades 6+.
