Michael A. Daniels, age 44, of Bethel, Passed Away

Bethel, CT — Michael A. Daniels, age 44, of Bethel, passed away in his sleep at home on Sunday June 5, 2016.

Michael was born June 22, 1971 in Bronx, NY, the son of the late Noreen and Michael J. Daniels of Ireland. Michael was a long-time Bethel resident, making his home with his husband and partner of 20+ years, David Muller, and the menagerie of beloved felines who were their children. David predeceased Michael last September.

Michael is survived by his sisters: Maureen (John) Yeung of New Rochelle, NY and Irene (William) Neubauer of Mahopac, NY, and his nephews and nieces Ryan, Daniel, Shannon, Collin, Matthew and Tara. Michael also leaves behind parents-in-law: Dr. and Mrs. Bruce Muller (also of Bethel), sister-in-law: Kathryn Muller and brother-in-law: John DiMatteo of Redwood City, CA.

Michael was a graduate of St. Raymond High School for Boys and earned a degree in Marketing from Iona College. Most recently, he worked as a caregiver for Companions and Homemakers. Michael brought joy to his clients and co-workers and was cherished by both. In addition, Michael had an abundance of friends who adored him and delighted in his playful sense of humor.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday June 11, from 1-4 pm, at Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, followed by a short reception for family and friends.
