Reminder: Bethel Relay for Life is Saturday
Bethel, Brookfield, Danbury and Redding's Relay for Life will take place on Saturday, June 11 and will benefit the American Cancer Society.

BETHEL, CT— Everyone knows someone whose life has been touched by cancer. On Saturday, June 11 hundreds will come together to raise thousands of dollars for Relay For Life in a combined fundraising event for Bethel, Danbury, Redding & Brookfield Relay for Life.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life event is held in over 20 countries worldwide. The event gives people a chance to fight back against cancer and honor those who are fighting or have lost their lives to the disease through a moving silent Luminaria ceremony.
To date, 38 teams in Bethel, Danbury, Brookfield and Redding which include 221 participants have raised more than $46,000 for Saturday's event.

The event takes place on Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. at the Bethel High School track. The schedule of events is as follows:
- Opening Ceremony – 11 a.m.
- Survivor Luncheon – 12 p.m.
- Luminaria Ceremony – 9 p.m.
- Closing Ceremony – 11 p.m.
