Amity Meat Center Building Sells For $580,000
The buyers have plans for the former Amity Meat Center building in Woodbridge.
WOODBRIDGE, CT —The former Amity Meat Center building in Woodbridge has been sold.
The business sold after 45 years in operation.
The 3,200-square-foot space at 24 and 28 Lucy St. sold for $580,000. The new buyers plan on operating a kosher market, according to a statement.

Gary Bellard, Colonial Properties broker, represented the seller. The buyer, FARFL, LLC was represented by Jared Verrillo of Seabury Hill Realtors.
The seller was represented by attorney Stuart A. Margolis, with Berdon, Young and Margolis, PC in New Haven; the buyer was represented by attorney Jerry Farrell, Jr. with CT Liquor Law in Wallingford.

Michael Richetelli of Colonial Properties said in a statement that the transaction demonstrates "the continued strong demand in the market for owner/user opportunities. Buyers from many different industries are actively seeking out properties where they can build equity while operating their businesses.”
Colonial Properties is an Orange-based commercial and residential real estate brokerage founded in 1978 that handles all types of real estate transactions.
