Obituary: Wilma D. Wickun, 97

Wilma D. Wickun, age 97, of Bethany, and formerly of Milford for over 60 years, beloved wife of the late John G. Wickun, died on Wednesday, April 24.  

Wilma was born in Fairfield, Conn. on January 24, 1916 to the late Michael and Mary Griz Demcsak.  

Survivors include her children: Michael D. Wickun (Mary) of Stratford, William G. Wickun (Leanne) of Montana, Mary Abbott of Bethany, four grandchildren; John, Katie, Jaime and Jeffrey, and several nieces and nephews.  

Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, April 27 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 501 Naugatuck Ave., Milford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield. There will be no calling hours.
