“We are proud to host this exhibition” stated Howard Lasser, the Craft Center’s executive director. “The Nutmeg
Woodturners and the Brookfield Craft Center have a long history of collaboration. The Nutmegers were instrumental in our ability to reopen our woodturning studio last fall. This is an opportunity for us to share and show the community some of these artists’ beautiful, creative and artistic work.”

The show will run through Saturday, April 30. The gallery is open Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. as well as by appointment made by phone via (203) 775-4526.

The Brookfield Craft Center’s woodturning studio reopened in the fall of 2015 with new equipment and new
classes. Beginning woodworkers to experienced craftspeople can explore box making to bowls, spindles to finials, along with pen turning and more, with distinguished faculty and visiting artists. The Nutmeg Woodturners League holds meetings in the studio on the second Monday of the month, semi-monthly (i.e. January, March, May, July and November). Further information is available through the center's website.
