Brookfield Library Plans Digital Photo Editing Class
The class, centered on the use of editing software Picasa, will be held throughout April, beginning Monday, April 11.

Brookfield Library will host digital photo editing classes throughout April, as announced Monday, April 4. Class dates are Monday, April 11; Wednesday, April 13; Monday, April 18; Wednesday, April 20 and Monday, April 25. The class will focus on the utilization of Picasa, a free photo-editing software available from Google. One can organize, edit and share digital photos through Picasa.
The five-session, hands-on course will allow participants to learn the basics of digital photography and use Picasa to edit and enhance photos, label and organize photos, create photo albums, collages and slideshows as well as learn how to electronically share photos.

There is a $10 fee to cover the cost of the course book, which must be paid by Friday, April 8. Participants should have some experience with computers and the Windows operating system before attending the class.
Space is limited to seven attendees. Registration is available online, by phone and at the checkout desk. Registration is only required for the first session of the class in order for prospective participants to be signed up for all five sessions.
