Brookfield Public Hearing for 150-Foot Proposed Cell Phone Tower is on Aug. 2

Public comment for the proposed cell phone tower will be at 7 p.m. on Aug. 2 in Room 133 of the Brookfield Town Hall.

Brookfield, CT — The Connecticut Siting Council is holding a public hearing on Tuesday, Aug. 2 with a public review of a proposed 150-foot cell phone tower to be built at 100 Pocono Road in Brookfield.

According to the public notice posted by the Connecticut Siting Council, public comment at 7 p.m. in Room 133 of the Brookfield Town Hall.

According to the proposal, the new tower is expected to improve coverage on Routes 7, 25, 133 and 202 in Brookfield. The project is being proposed by Verizon Wireless in partnership with Homeland Towers and Cellco.

The proposed tower would be located near the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department at 100 Pocono Lane.
