A typical Eversource residential customer on Standard Service using 700 kWh per month will have a total bill increase of 7.2% or $15.37.
December 30, 2024 - 12:00pm
On January 1, Eversource electric customers will see an increase in the energy supply price (Standard Service rate). A typical Eversource residential customer on Standard Service using 700 kWh per month will have a total bill increase of 7.2% or $15.37. This is the lowest Standard Service winter supply rate since 2021. Eversource does not generate electricity and we are required by law to purchase power on behalf of customers not enrolled with an alternate supplier. Those costs are passed on with no mark up or profit to Eversource.
