Brookfield Schedules Second Public Workshop For 2025 Development Plan
Brookfield will host a second workshop on April 22 to gather input on the 2025 conservation and development plan draft.
BROOKFIELD, CT — The Town of Brookfield will hold its second public workshop on April 22 as part of the ongoing update to its Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD), a state-mandated document that guides land use, zoning, infrastructure, and growth over a ten-year period.
The session is scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Brookfield High School cafeteria. Residents are invited to review and provide input on draft chapters that outline proposed goals, strategies, and recommendations in areas such as transportation, housing, economic development, community facilities, and natural resources.
The updated POCD aims to reflect current conditions and establish a strategic framework for the town’s future. It is intended to support decision-making by elected officials, planning boards, and town staff.
