Brookfield Teacher to Participate in Library of Congress Program: Report
She was selected from a pool of 300 applicants.
BROOKFIELD, CT — A district teacher has been selected to participate in Library of Congress program in the coming weeks, reports the News Times. Jennifer Rocca of Brookfield High School will join 30 teachers nationwide to participate in the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Summer Teacher Institute from June 26 to June 30.
She will bring what she learns back to BHS to teach fellow teachers and incorporate primary-source-based learning to students. The program will teach effective practices for using primary sources in the classroom.
