New Cell Tower Pitched In Brookfield
The lease could net the town of Brookfield $4 million over a 55-year period, according to documents filed with the town.

BROOKFIELD, CT — Homeland Towers Wireless is proposing a cell tower in north Brookfield.
The company is seeking to lease space on town-owned property on Long Meadow Road, Muirwood Court or Whisconier Road, according to documents filed with the town.
Homeland Towers is a tower developer out of Danbury that leases, permits and constructs wireless infrastructure for telecommunication providers and emergency services, according to documents.

Homeland Towers constructed a facility at 100 Pocono Road in town previously. The company said the tower is needed due to "coverage gaps." The company said if a deal can be agreed upon, it would result in $4 million in revenue for the town over a 55-year period.
