New Patrol Boat on Candlewood Lake
The boat replaces an old 2002 vessel that had hull issues.

BROOKFIELD, CT — A new patrol boat was dedicated and launched Friday on Candlewood Lake, according to the Candlewood Lake Authority. The new Marine Patrol boat replaced a previous 2002 vessel that had been suffering from hull issues.
60 percent of the cost was paid for through a Connecticut Intertown Capital Equipment grant, applied for by Sherman First Selectman Clay Cope. Cope had the support of New Milford, Danbury, Brookfield and New Fairfield's elected officials, according to the CLA.
The boat was dedicated in a ceremony at Sherman Town Park Friday.
