Obituary: Steven Edward Wolf, 35, of Brookfield

He will be remembered for his love of comic books, transformers, swimming in Candlewood Lake and animals.

Steven Edward Wolf, 35, passed away suddenly Monday May 29th at Danbury Hospital. Steven was born November 13, 1981 in Danbury, a son to Margaret "Peg" Wolf of Brookfield and John Wolf of Washington state.

Steven worked as a Cashier at Dollar Tree in Bethel for several years. He will be remembered for his love of comic books, transformers, swimming in Candlewood Lake and animals. His favorite time was enjoying the company of his nephew, Aiden. Steven was also a member of St. Joseph's Church in Brookfield.

Steven will be missed by his mother Margaret "Peg" Wolf and father John Wolf, brother Ian Wolf and sister Heather Wolf, her fiancé Russell Freitag, and their son Aiden. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Edward and Arlene Cook and his paternal grandmother Mary Ellen Thomson as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Friday June 2, 2017 at St. Joseph's Church, 163 Whisconier Rd., Brookfield. Friends may visit on Thursday June 1, 2017 from 4- 7pm at the Brookfield Funeral Home 786 Federal Rd., Brookfield.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Steven's honor to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.
