PhysicianOne Urgent Care Launches Contest to Give School Supplies to Classroom Teachers

PhysicianOne Urgent Care, with offices in Brookfield, Newtown and Ridgefield, will donate $1,400 of supplies through an essay contest.

BROOKFIELD, CT — PhysicianOne Urgent Care will donate $1,400 for classroom supplies to local teachers by hosting an essay contest to support educators in 14 communities throughout Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts.

"As summer winds down, parents, children, and teachers are preparing for a new school year. PhysicianOneUrgent Care is preparing, too. The physician-founded urgent care organization supports local families 365-days per year by offering quality walk-in urgent care for all ages. This September, they’re offering even greater support for local communities, by donating $1,400 in gift cards towards classroom supplies for local teachers," the company said in a statement.

PhysicianOne Urgent Care provides walk-in medical care for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries in 14 communities throughout Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts, including Newtown, Brookfield and Ridgefield.

For the essay contest teachers are asked to answer one question: How do you keep your classroom healthy?
