Canton First Selectman Not Seeking Reelection
Three other selectmen are also not running again.

First Selectman Richard Barlow will not run for reelection, reports the Hartford Courant.
Barlow, a Republican who has held the town’s top elected post for eight years, feels that it is time to move on after a lengthy career in local government.
He was first elected in 2007, ran unopposed for re-election in 2009 and, because of a change to the town charter, was elected to a four-year term in 2011.
