Town residents can now use their personal check, credit or debit cards for bulky waste and one-time use fees directly at the town transfer station on Ramp Road. Cash will not be accepted.
Previously tokens had to be purchased at Town Hall.
"It just offers a better way of serving the residents," said Robert Martin, the town's director of Public Works.
