
Theodora DeBarbieri of Waterbury reports today on the Examiner.com site that hundreds of animals left homeless from the tornadoes in Alabama are being brought to Connecticut.
The VCA Cheshire Animal Hospital has reportedly agreed to care and offer cage space to about 200 pets from the the tornado-ravaged area.
The effort is being coordinated by the SPCA of CT .
