Cheshire Educators Respond to "Race to Nowhere"

 The Town Wide PTA on Thursday will screen the documentary film "Race to Nowhere," at 7 p.m. at Cheshire High School's Thorp Auditorium.

"Race to Nowhere" is  a film about the pressure to achieve that children experience in school systems. 

Following the film a panel of experts will discuss its implications. The panelists are: Superintendent of Schools Greg Florio, Assistant Superintendent of Schools Scott Detrick, Cheshire High School Principal Kevin Ryan, Cheshire High School guidance director Vanessa Montorsi and Chris Brown, Cheshire Academy school psychologist.
