
The Department of Motor Vehicles on Saturday, March 26 will e unable to issue new driver licenses, new or renewed commercial driver licenses, new state identification cards and new learners' permits.
The above services are unavailable due to a a computer upgrade, according to DMV, which will make their files inaccessible on Saturday.
Renewals of driver licenses will be processed at DMV offices and at AAA offices statewide.

DMV offices, which are open tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., will be processing other customer transactions such as registration services and duplicate licenses or duplicate identification cards.
Anyone with a scheduled driver's test should keep that appointment. Normal services are expected to resume on Tuesday when DMV offices re-open for business. DMV offices are closed every Monday.
