Rugby Coach Raises Funds for Children's Cancer Research

Cheshire Rugby Club Assistant Coach Bill Bishop is shaving his head in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research

In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. He is honoring 10-year-old Gianna D'Amico of North Haven who recently was diagnosed with Leukemia and just began chemotherapy.

Bishop will shave his head on March 15 at North End Middle School in Waterbury.
