The candidates are Democrat Thomas Bruenn and Republican Len Suzio, both of Meriden.  Polls will be open from 6 a. m.  - 8 p. m. to fill the seat vacated by former Sen. Thomas Gaffey, D-Meriden. The poll locations for this special election are: Cheshire High School and Norton, Dodd, Doolittle and Highland elementary schools.
