Costs of Pool Options Discussed at Budget Workshop

Town Manager Michael Milone's proposed budget includes $940,458 for the community pool. "It is status quo for the pool with the bubble up in September and the same staffing levels," he said when releasing the document on March 10.

"As things evolve, we'll modify accordingly," Milone added.

The bubble collapsed in January after a heavy snow storm and engineering experts have said the fabric cannot be repaired. The cost to replace the bubble is more than the town's insurance company has offered to reimburse the town for the damage.
