There's just a few days left to enjoy an exhibit of Kate Themel's art quilts which  give the traditional craft of quilt making a 21st Century touch. See her work at the Funky Monkey Cafe &amp; Gallery in the Watch Factory Shoppes until Feb. 28.

The Cheshire quilt maker brings such detail to her fabric art that the pieces appear to be painted with thread. The show is the first public exhibition of her 2011 works.
