Darwin Days at state park, pool tournament for tweens and salsa for adults. Enjoy the thaw!

- Middle School Pool Tournament at the Yellow House, Sat., 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. 84 So. Main St. Snack and beverages provided. Requires registration.
- Darwin Days at Dinosaur State Park, Sat. and Sun., 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Children can make DNA bead bracelets and meet the park’s animals. 400 West St. ,Rocky Hill. Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for 12 and under.
- Salsa y Merengue event, Sat., 8 p.m. -12 a.m., The Funky Monkey Cafe & Gallery, 130 Elm St.
- Big Fat Combo, live music, Sat., 8:30 pm, C.J. Sparrow Pub & Eatery, 908 So. Main St.
