Five Things to do This Weekend

Darwin Days at state park, pool tournament for tweens and salsa for adults. Enjoy the thaw!

  1. Middle School Pool Tournament at the Yellow House, Sat., 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. 84 So. Main St. Snack and beverages provided. Requires registration.
  2. Darwin Days at Dinosaur State Park, Sat. and Sun., 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Children can make DNA bead bracelets and meet the park’s animals. 400 West St. ,Rocky Hill. Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for 12 and under.
  3. Salsa y Merengue event, Sat., 8 p.m. -12 a.m., The Funky Monkey Cafe & Gallery, 130 Elm St.
  4. Big Fat Combo, live music, Sat., 8:30 pm, C.J. Sparrow Pub & Eatery, 908 So. Main St.
  5. Theodicy Jazz Collective honoring activist Dorothy Day, Sun., 5:00pm, St. Peter's Church, 59 Main St.
