Hiring at McDonald's Coincides with Reopening

A large banner at the McDonald's restaurant at 850 South Main St. invites job seekers to apply for either management or crew jobs before the location reopens. 

A construction crew member said the new building should be finished in about two weeks. Electricians were on the site Wednesday where most of the exterior work appears to be finished. The old building was demolished in late March to make way for a more modern McDonald's.

 "This location is currently being refreshed, rebuilt, and will be better than ever, " reads a notice on the company's website. The reopening is scheduled for June 15.
