Obituary: Stella “Ann” Piekarski, 99, of Cheshire
Stella, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, worked for over 40 years at the Ball and Socket Manufacturing Company of Cheshire.
CHESHIRE, CT – (From Alderson-Ford Funeral Home) Stella “Ann” Piekarski, 99, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 7, 2022, with her family by her side.
She was the wife of the late Bernard Piekarski. Mrs. Piekarski was born on January 2, 1923, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Joseph and Stella (Maciejewski) Puchalski.
At the age of one, her family moved to Cheshire, where she lived her entire life.
She was retired from Ball and Socket Manufacturing Company of Cheshire, with over 40 years of service.
Mrs. Piekarski is survived by her son, David Piekarski, and his wife, Anne, of Cheshire. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Kristen (John) Addicks, of Alpine, Wyoming, and her sister, Bella Kopcza, of Vernon, CT.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Piekarski was predeceased by her sisters, Josephine Hodgkins and Theresa Kokoski, and her brothers, Walter, Teddy and Edmund Puchalski, all of Cheshire.
Arrangements – Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Stella’s name may be made to the charity of your choice.
