• 15 emergency service agencies in Southern Connecticut receive $1,000 RWA grants (fox61.com) — Emergency service agencies across South Central Connecticut, including those serving Cheshire, have each received a $1,000 grant from the Regional Water Authority’s Emergency Responder Grant Program. The funding helps departments buy critical gear like rescue equipment, boats, helmets, and medical training tools so first responders are better prepared for local emergencies.
