Report: Cheshire Police Still Haven't Reviewed Response To 2007 Home Invasion

It has been six years and many criticisms later, and still the Cheshire Police Department has yet to review its reaction to the infamous 2007 Cheshire home invasion.

The Associated Press writes that the department has never reviewed its response to the incident that left three people dead, despite criticism that they should have stormed the Petit house sooner. Also, the department continues to refuse to comment on its response.

"All I've ever wanted is for the truth to come out about this," Hawke-Petit's sister, Cynthia Hawke-Renn, told the AP. "This was like our own personal 9/11. If 9/11 had happened to our country and there were no reviews that were done ... it's like 9/11 happened and everybody walked away and said 'oh well.'"
