Scales, Fur and Feet (Seven of Them!)

Animals from far-flung continents visited the Cheshire Public Library Wednesday for a "Critter Caravan" of fun.

It was the perfect morning get together; lots of children, parents and grandparents gathered around a green quilt in a quiet room at the library. Quiet that is, until the first furry critter was introduced.

That's when the oohs and ahhs began. During the "Critter Caravan" program at the Cheshire Pubic Library, a few ughs could also be heard.

From soft to scaly, narrator "Jungle Jim" Bigham of Stamford introduced his menagerie of animals to the delight, and sometimes, dread, of the audience.
