Trio Facing Charges After Allegedly Shoplifting Baby Formula

The incident happened Friday at Everybody's Market, according to police.

Three people allegedly tried to steal baby formula from Everybody's Market at 1021 South Main St. on Friday and were arrested after a struggle with officers, according to reports.

Vanessa Hernandez, 21, Aaron Stevenson, 20 and Evan Stevenson, 19, all of Cheshire, each was charged with sixth-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer.

Evan Stevenson, who also is facing charges of assault on a police officer and operating without a license, was arrested at the store, according to police, while the other two were picked up later.

Evan Stevenson was held in lieu of $10,000 bond while Hernandez and Aaron Stevenson were each held in lieu of $2,500. They were arraigned Monday in Meriden Superior Court.
