Waverly Tavern Begins to Sell Off Equipment
After nearly 20 years in business, the well-known restaurant and watering hole closed its doors for the last time on Saturday.

Saute' pans were stacked in the kitchen entry at the now-closed Waverly Tavern Restaurant and Bar on Monday as owner John Glass begins the task of selling off his restaurant equipment.
A company which purchases used restaurant supplies was hauling off appliances through the front door of the building while workers began the final clean-up of the large kitchen area.
Glass said the removal of the equipment would probably take all week. No one has stepped forward "as of now" to lease the restaurant space, he said Monday.
