The Clinton Police Department is investigating a fraudulent credit card case where the unidentified subject in the photograph allegedly attempted to purchase merchandise from the Clinton Crossings Mall."The credit card used presented as an American Express Card however the magnetic strip information was not from American Express," according to a press release from the Clinton Police Department.Any departments who have similar incidents or information/contact with the suspect are asked to contact Sgt. Joe Flynn or OFC Matthew Reed at 860-669-0451 or email mreed@clintonct.org.
