$1,044 worth of Handbags Equals Fourth-Degree Larceny
Danbury Police charge two with shoplifting Saturday.

Danbury Police responded to a larceny complaint at the Danbury Fair mall at 6:34 p.m. Saturday. Upon reaching Lord & Taylor, police learned security detained Temika Kemp, 34, Rahway, NJ, and Hakim Abdullah, 39, Rahway NJ. Police said Kemp had stolen $1,044 worth of handbags and Abdullah had stolen $929 worth of merchandise. Police charged both Kemp and Abdullah with fourth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fourth-degree larceny, and both were held on $5,000 bonds each.
This information was provided by the Danbury Police Department. A person charged with a crime is innocent until having been convicted in court.
