22-Year-Old Arrested for Exposing Himself to 9-Year-Old at a Party

DANBURY, CT — Det. Lt. Christian Carroccio of the Danbury Police Department said that a Danbury man has been arrested for allegedly exposing himself to a minor at a party. According to police, on May 3, 2016, the department received a complaint that Carlos Samaniego-Ortega, 22, of Danbury had exposed himself to a 9-year-old female at a party at a residence in Danbury.

After an investigation by the Danbury Police Department's Special Victims Unit, an arrest warrant was obtained for Samaniego-Ortega, police said. He turned himself into the Danbury Police Department on September 16, 2016 after learning of the warrant and was arrested and charged with risk of injury to a minor. Samaniego-Ortega was held on a $75,000 bond.
